I posted a video on Instagram about an opportunity to play for for your country. But did you know that what is that opportunity?

Well, if you that I am going to tell you a short cut of success in cricket, then you are accepting wrong thing. First of all, there is no short route for playing cricket in upper level. Every single player start their career from ground level in towns and small cities.

Do you really think that you are the best player in your city? If you answer is Yes, then ask yourself a question that do you really think that you are the best player in your state? There is 99% chances that you are Not. The only reason behind this is you are not going out of your comfort zone. You are playing with same players again and again. This is not a right approach to improve your skill for big matches.

The best thing that you can do is playing against a player who is better than you. Because they show you the level where you are and the problems you have in your game. Also try to play against those player who are senior of you and have a lot of experience. But the real problem is finding the right opponents on each stage of your career. Do not try to think about directly playing for your country, instead take small steps towards your day to day goals and accomplished them.
